Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run 2013

Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run

This Saturday is a worthy ride, show your support for our fallen heroes in the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run. The money raised helps maintain and update the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles, Illinois. Thousands will participate and line the streets for this very cool event.

The start of the run is at the Grundy County Fairgrounds in Morris at 10:30 am and will conclude at the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles.

More info:

Unfortunately for me, I will be unable to attend the morning ride as I had hoped. A last minute appearance for The LOOP came up during the ride times. I will however be bringing my charity riders with me (weather permitting) to the ceremony after the ride, and hopefully will arrive in time to have the honor to read some of the names.

I sure hope to see at this very cool event!

The storms up North here already have our bikes rained in. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we won't ride through storms. Greg and the team will continue with this event rain or shine. Hoping they get as much of the morning events in down South as they can while its still dry. If your in the area, still swing on over and show your support for this worthy cause.

FYI, Radar does show the band of weather causing the rain this morning should move out of the area by about 1pm in Aurora, which is perfect timing for their ceremony.
